Know before you exercise your right to vote: a forum on Virginia’s proposed constitutional amendments

The ballot for the next election, which is coming up on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, will include three proposed amendments to the Constitution of Virginia. The amendments deal with abortion/reproductive rights, the restoration of civil rights for felons, and same-sex marriage.

Learn about the proposed amendments in an upcoming forum, “Know the Amendments Before You Vote,” organized by the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area. The forum will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:00 PM. You can view it on Fairfax Public Access TV (Channel 10) and via livestream on YouTube, on the Inside Scoop TV Show. The program will be divided into the following three segments, one for each proposed amendment:
