Full guardianship in Virginia takes away the person’s right to vote, marry, make decisions about their finances, etc. As a coalition whose mission is to get people with disabilities registered and voting, REV UP Virginia is working on this important issue. We want people with disabilities to be able to show their power at the polls. Until laws are changed, we encourage people to look into less restrictive options.
